At Miele, we consider laundry (e.g. washers, dryers etc.) and kitchen appliances (e.g. fridges, freezers, cooking appliances, built-in coffee machines etc.) to be large household appliances. Workshop SDA Repairs
Workshop repairs where Miele collect your small household appliance and take it to our workshop for repair. Pricing includes costs for transportation, labour, and spare parts for small household appliances:
Vacuum Cleaner repair fee: €/£ 160
Countertop Coffee Machine repair fee: €/£ 389

Frequently asked questions
Miele appliances are made to last for many years. Therefore, it is often still worth repairing. If your appliance is deemed beyond economic repair and you decide to purchase a new Miele appliance directly from us, the inspection fee will be deducted from the purchase price - effectively making the inspection free of charge.
During the Miele warranty period, any defects in your appliance excluding usage and operating errors will be resolved at no cost to you. This includes repairs or replacements of affected components or the entire appliance. Miele Ireland will also cover all travel costs, call-out charges, labour, and spare parts. For full details, please refer to the warranty terms and conditions.
A “Fixed Price Repair” is a service provided at a set price, agreed upon before the service visit. This one-off payment covers all costs needed to get your appliance back up and running, including:
• The call-out charge.
• All labour and spare parts required to fix the reported fault at the time of booking, including subsequent visits if spare parts need to be ordered.
• A 12-month guarantee on parts and labour for the conducted repair, starting from the repair date.
The “Fixed Price Repair” service is available for most large household appliances, but please note that it does not cover MasterCool appliances, Dialog Ovens, and Ranges.
In case we might not be able to repair the appliance or the appliance is beyond economic repair, you will receive a replacement proposal.
Remote Assist includes an in-depth diagnosis and guidance towards a solution provided by a Miele appliance expert over the phone. This may involve guided self-help, troubleshooting, spare parts advice, or booking a technician—all for a fixed price. A video call option is also available if needed.
If a solution cannot be found during the Remote Assist call, our appliance expert will schedule a service visit. If a repair is deemed no longer cost-effective, they will propose a suitable appliance solution. Should a follow-up visit or appliance replacement be necessary, the cost of the Remote Assist call will be discounted.
Miele appliances are designed for longevity, and we offer original Miele spare parts for at least 15 years after production ends. We continue to service many older Miele appliances, as they often remain valuable and worth repairing.
