Miele Steam Oven | Mains outage does not appear on the display of the steam oven. Occasionally, mains outage problems may occur in Microwave operating mode and the electronic control module may restart.

The appliance door is not properly closed.

Close the appliance door.

You may need to press the door again gently after closing.

Damage to the appliance.

Never start Microwave operating mode when the oven compartment is empty.

Do not use the cooking containers and the included baking and roasting rack in Microwave operating mode.

Use the correct items in Microwave operating mode:

When using the appliance in Microwave operating mode, always use the glass tray (DMGS 1/1–30 L) to place cooking containers on and insert it on the lowest shelf level.
The microwaveable dish containing the food should always be placed in the middle of the glass tray.
Place at least 1 bag of microwave popcorn (≥ 90 g) or a microwaveable dish containing at least 150 ml of liquid on the glass tray.
