What home networking options are available?

Other home networking systems can access the information about Miele appliances via the Miele@home XGW3000 gateway. Currently, solutions from several companies are available, such as Busch-Jaeger, Gira, SMA, KNX and Loxone.

If you want to couple/link ZigBee-networked Miele appliances with home automation systems, you currently need to use an XGW3000 (our gateway). The home automation system or energy management system also has to support the Miele home bus 1.0 protocol.

Alternatively, the 3rd-party API has been available since the end of 2018.
